The 3rd Conference on Documentation and Electronic Archiving, which concluded in Dubai on Monday, has called on Dubai Municipality to set up an international working group that can look into investing financial and technical resources for turning Dubai into a distinctive centre for knowledge and information management and its various applications.
The concluding session of the conference was chaired by Obeid Salim Al Shamsi, Assistant Director General of Dubai Municipality for Administrative and General Services Affairs.

Dubai Municipality , in cooperation with the proposed international working group, may choose the themes and subjects for the upcoming scientific conferences and meetings with a view to encourage capabilities in the production, spread, exchange and development of knowledge," said the communiqué.
