- PRESS RELEASE
Thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibitors will make this year's GITEX Exhibition in Dubai one of the most important events in the Gulf's IT calendar.
Joining the ranks of exhibitors will be Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM), Oman's Technology Park. "KOM will be in Hall 8, stand C8-2," said Mohammed Al Maskari, Acting Director General, KOM. "We participated at GITEX 2004 and had an excellent show - we met a variety of companies interested in setting up or expanding their Middle East IT operations and converted some of these leads into tenants. Indeed, given KOM's growing reputation as a centre of business excellence and innovation plus the Park's extra 8,000 square metres of Class A office accommodation that'll be ready July 2006, we expect to enjoy a steady stream of visitors throughout the five days," added Al Maskari.
"GITEX is a marvelous opportunity for KOM to communicate its brand to an excellent level of visitors in an arena that is both professional and energizing. Last year we were so busy that we had to call in extra staff to assist. We're looking forward to putting on a really good show." remarked Hisham Al Zubaidi, Director, Marketing, PEIE.
