His visit reinforces CA's commitment to the Arab region since it started its direct operations in September 2004.

"CA is looking at emerging markets such as the Middle East as key for its long-term growth strategy," said Dutton. "We have made significant regional investments in the last 12 months to ensure that our customers and partners have access to the best solutions, support, and services with expert resources based where it matters - locally. We're delighted to be showcasing these offerings and sharing our success to date with visitors to this year's GITEX."

Dutton will be meeting with senior business and government decision makers on the CA stand (stand G9-1 in Sheikh Rashid Hall) to give a global perspective on CA's leadership in the enterprise IT management space, which enables organisations to automate, simplify, and secure their IT environments to drive better business value. He would also very much like to listen to their local experiences with the company over the past year.

"CA's regional operation helps customers benefit from over 28 years of worldwide software management expertise which today helps 98 percent of the global 1,000 companies," said Gilbert Lacroix, vice president and general manager of CA in the Arab Countries and Pakistan.
