October 2005 also marks the second anniversary of Element K's strategic partnership with Etisalat's eCompany to provide e-Learning through the LearnOnline Portal. The portal, located at http://learnonline.ae, has been expanded to cover more than 1,700 courses in desktop computing, Information Technology and business & professional development, as well as vLabs, which are virtual hands-on labs using actual network and router equipment.
Element K Middle East will also unveil their latest International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) Syllabus 4.0 Training Product, Offline e-Learning Courses, at GITEX. The product, available on CD-ROM, enables students to complete ICDL e-Learning based training without the need to be connected to the Internet. With the addition of the ICDL Offline e-Learning product, Element K Middle East now has widest range of Arabic and English ICDL Training options in the region.
