Toshiba assures GITEX Shoppers the best of technology

Toshiba's Computer Systems Division has invited consumers visiting the GITEX Shopper 2005 to preview and purchase the latest Toshiba notebook computers marked by leading edge, next-generation technology.

Catering to varying customers, Toshiba products include notebook computers that address consumers, SoHos and SMBs (Small Office Home Officer Owners, and Small and Medium Businesses), and large enterprises.

Elaborating on the invitation, Ahmed Khalil, Regional General Manager (Middle East and Africa), Toshiba Computer Systems Division, said that visitors to GITEX Shopper would be able to choose from a large collection of Toshiba products that would be made available at some of the best prices in the market. "Toshiba is celebrating 20 years of leadership in the market, and this is best evident in the new products we have unveiled at Gitex. For Toshiba, GITEX Shopper is an important forum that simultaneously increases visibility, usage and loyalty of our products. Visitors are invited to touch, feel, understand and harness our latest technologies, and use them to best advantage in their homes, offices or enterprises.

Toshiba will showcase its latest professional and consumer notebook computers at GITEX Shopper. Key products scheduled to be launched at the exhibition include the Libretto U100 - a mini notebook which is a fully functional notebook presented in a very light and small format; the new Tecra S3 - a business notebook which features an improved spill resistance keyboard and drop protection design that is also environment friendly; and the latest Qosmio models - featuring improved display quality and new design including dual digital and analog tuner, and instant on-recording functionality. "Every person who visits the Shopper exhibition will have a Toshiba notebook computer to suit their specific needs. Be it the mobile professional who seeks advanced security, families who want to explore home entertainment possibilities, or professionals who look for value-added features, they will find something special to choose from. Visitors to Shopper can also expect some irresistible offers on Toshiba products at all our retail partners' stands. These include raffle draws, bundle offers and attractive prices on all our products," Khalil added.

Toshiba's wide range will be on display and sale at the stalls of their partners in the UAE - Plug Ins, Jumbo Electronics, Jacky's, CompuMe, Cubic Computers, Sharaf Trading (DG Sharaf), Al Futtaim Computers and Achievers Computers - from September 24 to 30, 2004.
