Tejari previews online solution for the Middle East's tendering process
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, September 25 - 2005 at 10:53
- PRESS RELEASE
In response to customer feedback about the challenges of managing complex tenders, especially in growing sectors such as construction, technology, and utilities, Tejari, the Middle East's online marketplace, is giving GITEX 2005 attendees a sneak peek at its new Tejari Tender.
Tejari Tender®, which is anticipated to be commercially available at the start of 2006, will enable organizations that need to create a tender to centralize the drafting process through automated workflows that allow different departments to create the tender document in parallel. Rather than printing thousands of sheets of paper, the entire document can be sold or offered online in a secure environment.
For companies wishing to bid on a tender, the new Tejari Tender® will provide a 'dashboard' to search and view the document online, as well as bid in real time. Tejari Tender is being created in full accordance with both regional and international tendering practices and regulations.
"Creating a solution that reduces the costs of building a large tender for buyers and the complexity of accessing it for suppliers is a major milestone for Tejari, and we anticipate considerable demand for Tejari Tender® when it becomes available," concluded Hijazi.
