Al Tayer Group streamlines business operations with Oracle JD Edwards upgrade

The Dubai based business conglomerate, Al Tayer Group, has completed a significant update of its enterprise applications to the latest version of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne enterprise resource planning system in order to increase operational efficiency, increase productivity and gain greater visibility of its core business processes.
Evan Powell, Al Tayer Group's General Manager - IT, said: "Al Tayer has been successfully running JD Edwards ERP system, in 36 group companies, since 2001. We trust the new Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.11 solution to provide even greater flexibility and corporate visibility across the entire business."
Senior executives at Al Tayer Group now expect the investment in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to help the management adapt more easily to the ever-changing business environment. In addition to streamlining Al Tayer's finance, logistics and warehouse management processes, the Group has also chosen to deploy Oracle JD Edwards solutions for customer relationship management (CRM). The new CRM modules will empower Al Tayer's employees to provide even better service and care to the group's elite customer base.
Dwight Mitchell, General Manager of Mitchell & Associates, the Dubai-based system integrator (SI) that installed the system, commented: "We were immensely pleased with the success of the project.
