Batelco revamps its website

As part of its continued efforts to offer the best and the most diversified spectrum of services to customers of all sectors, the Bahrain Telecommunications (Batelco) has recently revamped its website batelco.com.
The company has made major changes to its website to make it interactive and user friendly to serve as an effective and convenient contact point that allows customers to process all their on-line transactions; including payment of fixed and mobile bills, purchase of products and services, topping up SimSim cards, etc. Business and residential customers can also make use of the e- service channels on the site to check and pay their bills, in addition to viewing fixed and mobile telephone directories.
The new site offers faster, easier & has a more advanced navigational structure, as customer can easily find products and services they require. Most wanted products & services are now displayed on the first page. This was archived by using new methodologies of web structure engineering that resulted on a better navigational structure. This resulted on reducing an entire level of navigation. The site also provides an enhanced and advanced high-tech security process to our customer's online payments.
"It's extremely important for us to continuously be close to our customers to identify their needs and demands and do every effort possible to - not only meet - but exceed their aspirations and expectations," explains Adel Daylami, Senior Manager Data & Voice Services at Batelco.
"We understand that the needs and wants of our customers have become more sophisticated and they are seeking to posses the latest in the telecommunications and information technology. On our part, we have a commitment to determine and meet all of those demands through the employment of modern means like the Internet,"
"Revamping our website is one of many initiatives that we have introduced over the past few years in order to guarantee the best possible service for our customers," says Adel. "We are working tirelessly to further improve our customers' experience through making our services accessible and user friendly," concludes Adel.
The new site is segmented into two main areas: Customers at home, Customers in business. It also posts - in both Arabic and English - corporate news, press releases, investment and financial news and new products, services and offers.
Batelco has launched several programmes that provide returns to customers to recognize their continued loyalty to the company. These programmes include the successful "Family & Friends" that gives discounts on local and international calls and Batelco x-change that gives cash back (by way of redeemable points of the F&F card) as well as significant discounts at many popular merchants around the kingdom, and Batelco Cash Prizes that gives customers BD 100 to BD 1000 each month.
