Red Hat looks for new partners at GITEX 2005

Red Hat, Inc. (NASDAQ:RHAT), the world's leading provider of open source solutions to the enterprise, is participating at the 25th Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) with Dubai-based distributor Opennet to look for more channel partners in the Middle East.

The Red Hat Advanced Partner Programme allows resellers, VARs and system integrators to offer their regional customers a complete open-source solution.

As part of the company's increased interest in business development in the Middle East, Red Hat is investigating opportunities for growth in the region. Participating at GITEX for the second time, Red Hat is looking to become acquainted with a number of potential advanced partners to discuss the possibilities of signing partnership agreements early in 2006.

Benefits of the Advanced Partner Programme include the opportunity to sell a complete open source solution to the enterprise including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, the leading platform for open source computing as well as the entire infrastructure of the Red Hat Network (proxy and satellite servers and provisioning) Red Hat Training, Consulting and Support. Business contacts and the joint realisation of projects are also included in the programme. Red Hat Advanced Partners receive comprehensive support from Red Hat staff, both in pre-sales and in distribution, as well as exclusive access to information and evaluation versions.
