- PRESS RELEASE
Emirates, one of the world's fastest-growing airlines, has activated a special 24-hour hotline in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to provide hassle-free customer service to Umrah travellers during Holy month of Ramadan.
Manned by a dedicated group of highly-trained staff, Emirates' Umrah hotline will allow customers to conveniently receive information relating to Emirates' flights, book their travel, request special services, or make changes to their travel itineraries.
Hamad Obaidalla, Emirates' Senior Vice- President, Commercial Operations Gulf, Middle East and Iran said: "The Umrah is a unique spiritual experience for Muslims. Emirates is pleased to offer a dedicated hotline during this period to provide an added convenience to our customers and assist them in their specific travel requirements. We would like to wish all the customers a fruitful Umrah in advance."
In addition to the five-a-week scheduled services between Dubai and Jeddah, Emirates will serve Umrah travelers with additional flights during Ramadan. Customers may call the hotline for more information.
During the Hajj season in January 2006, more than four million pilgrims are expected to gather in the holy cities of Makkah and Medinah.
