"Sony Ericsson has developed an extensive range of mobile phones that address the various mobile communication and entertainment needs of today's consumers," said Husni Al-Assi, General Manager, Sony Ericsson Middle East and Africa. "From the simple and practical to the most features-packed mobile phones, Sony Ericsson offers consumers unparalleled choices," Al-Assi added.

But whatever the need, consumers can count on Sony Ericsson's reputation for delivering cutting-edge technology that is fun, stylish and fully functional.

J210i

The SE J210i is the perfect phone for those who prefer basic communications and messaging functionalities in their phones. Designed for every day use, the J210i makes life easier by mixing practical ergonomics with a simple, intuitive interface. The slim design incorporates a large keypad with joystick for easy navigation, and a bright 65K colour screen. Using the phone in a variety of situations is made effortless as speech clarity is provided and a dedicated ringtone speaker delivers clear sound for incoming calls. And, although the J210i is designed with voice communication in mind, it is easy for users to supplement calls with SMS text and MMS picture messaging.

The Z520i is specifically designed with the stylish, young woman in mind. The fashionable set will be delighted with its sleek fusion of chic clam shell design and high tech features. It has a wide range of advanced features, including a VGA camera that can take pictures or video clips whether the phone is open or closed. The camera lens is on the same side as the external screen, which acts as a reference viewfinder, so users can easily frame shots. When the phone is open, the 1.8 inch TFT display shows the full resolution pictures. Images can be linked to contacts, shared around locally using infrared or Bluetooth™, or sent to friends as an MMS message

K750i

Raising the bar for camera phones, the K750i provides an unparalleled quality in mobile telephony and digital camera functionality. It comes with an easy-to-use image management PC software, which enables users to create multiple photo albums, add effects, share, view, and print with impressive quality.

Turn the K750i over and your phone turns into a digital camera with excellent picture quality. And, when it's to time to catch some action, the K750i takes quality videos as well. The K750i also has a fully featured digital music playerpre-loaded with current hit songs, as well as Sony Ericsson's proprietary PlayNow™ technology for quick and easy music tone download.

W800i

With the W800i, Sony Ericsson reinvigorates Sony's pioneering Walkman device and combines it with mobile communications features. Envisioned as the new iconic phone, the W800i is the first in the new 'walkman phone' family by Sony Ericsson, which enables users to enjoy their music without ever missing a call.

With a 512 MB memory stick PRO duo™, the W800i has a capacity for around 125 tracks, or 10 - 12 full length CDs (MP3 files at 128 kilobits/second) and can be expanded up to 2GB. Equipped with a 2 megapixel, auto-focus camera with picture light and digital still camera interface, the Walkman phone allows users to capture special moments of your life. It weighs less than a 100g and can be connected to a stereo hi-fi or car stereo speakers so music can be shared with friends.

P910i

The Sony Ericsson P910i efficiently combines PDA-style functionality with advanced mobile phone technology. The Sony Ericsson P910i has the widest variety of input methods including keyboard, natural handwriting and T9, so that users can choose the most convenient way to access the phone's many functions. The P900i doesn't just look like a PDA, it has many PDA-style functions. For example, its email manager can be synchronised with Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes, and can handle attachments including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. At the same time, it includes an integrated video camera, MP3 player and downloadable Java™ applications. With a range of connectivity options including Bluetooth™, the P910i provides an excellent platform for working (and playing) on the move.

With an exciting range of mobile phones available at GITEX 2005, expect the Sony Ericsson booth to be a top draw among exhibitors.
