Wilox appointed exclusive hotspot operator for GITEX Dubai 2005

Wilox, a leading provider of next-generation turnkey wireless Internet solutions in the region, has announced that it has been appointed the exclusive hotspot operator for GITEX Dubai 2005, being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from September 25-29, 2005.
Wilox is showcasing a wide array of products and services at GITEX Dubai 2005, along with its partners. The highlight of Wilox's participation at the exhibition will be the Middle East launch of WIXP Wireless Express, the largest single wireless aggregator network in the world. Wilox will also present the new wireless roaming solution from Viatores, which permits seamless and secure roaming between wireless networks without dropping the connection.
Among the other solutions Wilox is putting on display at the exhibition are Kosmo PDA's interactive advertising portal that is customizable with location tracking and video streaming features, and ShotCode, which turns a camera phone into an offline web links scanner. In addition, the company will also showcase CMO Global's enterprise mobility solutions for the healthcare, hospitality, property management and oil and gas industries, which extend management control to PDAs to provide greater efficiency and timely response to mission-critical situations.

Gitex Dubai 2005 features over 1,300 exhibitors from around the world, and is expected to draw more than 150,000 visitors. Live news feed covering the exhibition is being supplied by CNBC Arabia and K-TV, interviewing exhibitors and visitors at the show. The live video will be accessible on PDAs through the course of the event, providing updated news on displayed products as well as the events that take place.
Wilox has partnered with many premier institutes in the region on Research and Development programmes, including with Planning International, a leading business and technology services consulting firm, and the Institute for Technological Innovation (ITI), a centre of excellence owned and operated by Zayed University.
