- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, September 29 - 2005 at 07:51
- PRESS RELEASE
The five-day visitor count for GITEX Shopper crossed the 72,000 mark going up by over 20 per cent over the same period last year, as consumers and small business owners sifted through over 4,000 products.
The last two days of the show will be far more exciting for consumers with attractive bargains, cash deals, raffles, easy payment facilities, credit card promotions and instant cash prizes. These tempting offers have made GITEX Shopper the preferred platform for consumers to browse, decide and purchase the latest products.
GITEX Shopper 2005 features 140 exhibitors from 15 countries in the renovated and expanded Airport Expo, which has double the exhibition area as compared to last year.
GITEX Shopper has evolved over the years from a marketplace for computers and accessories to its current status as the single largest annual retail platform for technology, in the Middle East. The show now encompasses information technology, digital imaging, home entertainment, telephony, consumer electronics, office automation, gaming, educational programs and training, stationery and computer furniture among others.
