The LANscapeŽ Pretium™ Solution range matches fibre optic cable, hardware and test equipment with high-level technical support and engineering services. The company behind it, Corning, sees a number of strong potential markets for the solution in the Middle East, particularly in the education and data centre sectors, working in partnership with the Middle East distributor, OnLine Distribution.
The number of data centres in the Middle East has effectively tripled in the past five years, driven by the expanding economies of the region and the increasing complexity of many companies' operations.
Advanced fibre optic solutions are seen as critically important in helping these data centres manage increasing volumes of data at faster speeds, with greater efficiency.
