Focus on Qatar, official guest country at this year's AWTTE 2005

Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) 'brings Qatar to the world' during this year's Arab World Travel & Tourism Exchange (AWTTE), currently taking place in Beirut, September 29 - October 2.
Qatar Tourism Authority will not only focus on the country's rapid growth and infrastructural development. Qatar, known as the 'heart of the Arabian Gulf', will highlight its rich culture during the four day exhibition commencing tonight with the Qatari Night Gala Dinner hosted by H.E. Mr. Akbar Al Baker, Chairman of Qatar Tourism Authority and CEO of Qatar Airways.
"Qatar is pleased to be participating as Guest Country in this years AWTTE and we look forward to showcasing the many features Qatar has to offer the business and leisure traveller.", said Jan Poul N. de Boer, Acting Director General, Qatar Tourism Authority. "We also look forward to sharing our culture, tradition and heritage with the rest of the world at AWTTE 2005."
