  • PRESS RELEASE

Emirates Telecommunications Corporation - Etisalat - is demonstrating the Multimedia and TV streaming service for 'Mubashir' 3G subscribers.

Visitors to the Etisalat stand will be able to view multimedia content in real time, with their 3G mobile phone screen displaying the images. 'Mubashir' subscribers will soon be able to even access television content when they are on the move.

Another key aspect of this facility is that the subscriber can set his mobile phone to show video from a security camera or a close circuit camera placed strategically. The user could then monitor activities in sensitive areas, as the camera would beam images directly to his or her 3G mobile phone.

The biggest benefit is expected to be for business people on the move, or for families with children at home, who need to monitor their safety.
