E-Vision adds Al Jazeera Sports Channel to its line-up

Emirates Cable TV and Multimedia (E-Vision), the leading Cable Company in the region, today announced that it has added two of the latest premium channels, Al Jazeera Sport +1 and +2, to its sports line-up.
Mr. Humaid Rashid Sahoo, Chief Executive Officer - E-Vision, shortly after signing an agreement with one of the major channel providers in the Arab World assured that E-Vision is definitely living up to the promise of providing its customers all the best in TV entertainment through just one cable.
"The addition of Al Jazeera +1 and +2 to our list of sports offerings complements our objective of delivering the most popular sports events and activities to our customers. E-Vision specifically chooses its channels in line with all its customer feedback and requests to guarantee that all its offerings completely comply with the customers' needs."
At present, E-Vision offers its viewers the best in TV Entertainment through more than 200 selected channels. It offers the latest events and sports activities such as soccer, basketball, formula one, cricket and many others.

E-Vision was established in April 2000 as the UAE's only cable provider, and is a subsidiary of the Emirates Telecommunication's corporation.
With an initial coverage of 20,000 homes, E-Vision's services currently reach 300,000 homes across five emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Al Ain and Ajman, with a solid 500,000 viewers.
E-Vision has partnerships with major entertainment providers such as Arab Digital Distribution (ADD), Showtime and Orbit, in addition to four channels of its own in e-junior, the kids channel; e-View, the Pay Per View service; e-Games, the interactive channel; and the Information Channel.
