IFP Group officially introduced the third edition of the Rebuild Iraq Exhibition and Conference in France

Addressing a press conference at the UBIFRANCE head-office in Paris, Mr. Georges Sadé Regional Coordinator of Europe, IFP Group, announced that Rebuild Iraq 2006 Exhibition, will be held at Amman International Fair, Marj Al Hamam, Amman, Jordan from 3 - 6 April 2006, and is expected to be the largest international trade event for the rebuilding of Iraq.

The press conference was also addressed by M. Pierric Bonnard of UBIFRANCE who emphasized the partnership with IFP with respect to the Rebuild Iraq Show where UBIFRANCE will be organizing the French Pavilion.

The press conference witnessed strong presence of French Businessmen, representing the French companies of countries that have pledged or willing to participate in Rebuild Iraq 2006.

After a brief background about IFP Group and its unrivaled track record in the Middle East. Mr. Fadi Kaddoura, Project Director at the IFP Group, introduced the third edition of the Rebuild Iraq to the French Business community. The show is organized by IFP and Riyadh Exhibitions Co. ltd and is supported by the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade.

"The outstanding success of the 2005 event held last April, echoed well with the international delegations that took part, resulting in a tremendous inflow of booking requests for the Rebuild Iraq 2006 from all over the world. Early indications lead us to believe that the 2006 event will be yet another success with a forecasted growth of 15 - 20% in the number of exhibitors and exhibition space. A good number of new countries and countries which missed the 2005 event have already expressed to us their firm intention to have a full-scale participation at Rebuild Iraq 2006". Said Kaddoura.

"The Rebuild Iraq 2006 Exhibition will offer international suppliers a safe and ideal meeting place to present their products and technologies to thousands of visitors including: Iraqi ministry officials and decision makers, private sector professionals & businessmen, contractors and subcontractors as well as leading Jordanian, regional & international traders and importers. Major sectors at the show include: building and construction, gas and oil, electricity, HVAC, telecommunications, agriculture and food, health and environment, hospitality, packaging and printing, education, industrial machinery, security, and IT. The organizers plan to make available over 27,000 sqm. Of covered exhibition space, and more than 5000 sqm of outdoor exhibition space at the Amman International Fair in Marj El Hamam. Major improvements on the existing facilities will be implemented". Underlined Kaddoura

"To give added value to participating international delegations and update them on the security and business environment in Iraq, the organizers will hold a two day Rebuild Iraq 2006 Conference on 4 and 5 of April addressing all major issues including security, finance, contracting, business, health, infrastructure development and trade. The Rebuild Iraq 2006 Conference will be organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan widely known as AmCham, and will include top Iraqi ministers , Keynote speakers and international experts on Iraq". Kaddoura added.

"To ensure a high level of visitor turnout, the organizers of Rebuild Iraq 2006 will conduct massive and highly targeted visitor promotion and media campaigns reaching out to the largest number of leading professionals and traders in Iraq and across the region. Special efforts to facilitate the visit of hundreds of top Iraqi officials and professionals will be coordinated with Iraqi ministries and other organizations across the country. The organizers will pay particular attention to transportation, border crossing, and special accommodation arrangements to secure a substantial turnout of professional Iraqi visitors to the show". Kaddoura added.

"The fact that the IFP Group exhibitions are of considerable value to the France is apparent from the growing number of French-based companies who exhibit in our series of exhibition in Doha, Riyadh, Dubai, Beirut and Amman. In doing so, these companies use the exhibitions as a gateway to the Middle east markets and specially to the Iraqi market when willing to share in Rebuild Iraq. Kaddoura added.

At the end of the conference Kaddoura announced that IFP Office in Paris, is pleased to offer full support and assistance to trade visitors and exhibitors, in regard to the visa facilitation, hotel accommodation, and admission tickets, relevant information about Rebuild Iraq 2006 as well as other trade fairs that are organized by IFP Group in the Middle East.
