STC demonstrates its technological strengths in Computer and Communications-Sound and Vision Exhibition (CCE), Dhahran

Saudi Telecom announced its satisfaction with the overwhelming response to its participation in CCE, Dhahran.
The Computer & Communications Exhibition (CCE) is one of the largest and well-known annual IT shows in the region. Accompanied this year with the Sound & Vision -S&V- Exhibition to conform to the vast improvement and merge between the two industries.
3G communication systems, high speed internet, live news via SMS, mobile entertainment, gaming, information services and satellite channel viewer ship on mobile phones were a huge attraction with individual consumers. Eng. Saad Dhafer Al Qahtani, General Manager, STC communicated that plans to launch these services in the Kingdom were at an advance stage.
STC also took advantage of this opportunity and introduced MMS, Al Jawal, Al Hatif & Abwab functions and services to consumers. Existing Kitaf services, which give consumers free minutes and SMS facility among various other services, were highly appreciated by consumers.
Saudi Data, demonstrated its DSL SKY service. Businesses responded enthusiastically to its various packages in the areas of secure high speed data transfers via satellites.
Mr. Al Qahtani also clarified "We are investing in the future of Kingdom by bringing in the latest technologies to consumers. Fast adoption of these technologies by consumers is the best proof of their faith in us". Special programs were held to introduce these new technologies to the students and public.
With its strong demonstration at the CCE, STC has reaffirmed its leadership position with individual and business consumers of the Kingdom and neighboring countries.
