Saudi Telecom Communications has the best ever GITEX

Saudi Telecom announced it had the best ever GITEX this year, with a sharp increase in visitors to the stand on last year.
Eng. Saad Dhafer Al Qahtani, General Manager STC, said: "GITEX has proven to be an important factor in promoting our services in the region, specifically and across the Middle East and Africa in general. Our participation in exhibitions like GITEX shows our strong commitment to developing and enlarging the business not only in the KSA, but also offering our services to other markets in the region."
While the most eye-catching demonstrations consisted of services for mobiles and the other key parts of STC business including; Saudi Data, which presented a wide range of products from high speed Internet to Hi-tech solutions for businesses. Visitors to the stand have been were offered free Internet access demonstrating STC's new customer focused website and the 'My Services' portal has been specially developed to fulfill customers' needs online. The portal has everything from bill management and payment to sending SMS to any mobile phone around the world.
The Al Hatif team, STC's landline services with the biggest network infrastructure in the region, were on hand to show off its latest developments. One of the biggest parts of the business, Al Jawal with nearly 10 million customers, give visitors the chance to explore its exciting services including; the recently launched MMS (Multi Media Messaging), live news on SMS, mobile entertainment, gaming, information services and the soon to be launched 3G.
