- PRESS RELEASE
Empost, the UAE's National Courier Company, will be one of the sponsors of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2005, to be held during the holy month of Ramadan in the emirate.
Through the course of the event, Empost will have a strong presence at Expo Centre Sharjah, the main venue of the festival, where the company will showcase its latest courier services to the public. In addition, Empost will organize and participate in various activities at the mall, including an event where children can draw on Ramadan greetings postcards and send them by mailing them to their parents.
Among the major attractions of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival will be the grand draw, the winner of which will be selected from the coupons deposited in boxes placed at leading malls in the emirate. The boxes will be collected from the respective malls by Empost.
Sultan Al Midfa, CEO, Empost, said: "We are glad to sponsor the Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2005, which is one of the most important events in the Emirate's social calendar, attracting thousands of families from Sharjah as well as from neighboring emirates. Empost is making concerted efforts to generate greater public awareness about its various courier services. As part of this strategy, we have been actively associating ourselves with events and projects that involve substantial public involvement. Our decision to extend support to the Sharjah Ramadan Festival is in line with this larger approach," Al Midfa added.
Empost offers a broad range of sector-specific courier services such as the Jawaz service, which collects and delivers processed passports and other consular documents to customers' home or office, and Health Pack, a service which ensures timely delivery of medical documents to customers. Other Empost services include Mandoub, Ameel, Ezi Mail, Litedox, EmDirect and Ezi Pack.
"Empost is committed to make customers' lives easier by constantly introducing tailor-made courier services designed to meet specific customer requirements," Al Midfa said. "Events such as the Sharjah Ramadan Festival offer us an important forum to promote these innovative services. We look forward to taking an active part in the various activities to be held as part of the festival."
