Middle East and Asia's largest education expo expands to an online environment

A comprehensive new web forum, www.mygetex.com , with interactive services for student, parents and academics, has been launched by International Conferences & Exhibitions (IC&E), the organisers of GETEX (The Global Education and Training Exhibition), the largest education fair in the Middle East region.
The site also features active message boards that aim to bring the community together in forming support groups for students negotiating the often stressful journey through secondary, higher and professional education.
While phase one of the website is complete; the second phase will offer members an interactive journal to keep track of examination dates, results, application status and academic goals. The site will also offer an advanced search engine researching Education Courses, Conferences, Seminars and Workshops available at every GETEX edition (Dubai, Abu Dhabi & India).

GETEX is the largest education fair in the Middle East region. Organised by International Conferences & Exhibitions (IC&E), GETEX is held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Education as well as the support of Dubai Knowledge Village, the region's biggest ensemble of institutes of higher education, and the British Council in Dubai.In the 18th successive year of showing, GETEX comprises of three segments, Education, Human Resource Development and Equipment, Technology, Services & Supply for the Education & Training sectors. The show also hosts a series of workshops, seminars and conferences alongside each edition. The 17th GETEX, held in April 2005 in Dubai, attracted 423 institutions from 35 countries and an audience of over 27,000 students, parents, teachers and education professionals.
