New international conference to face global challenges in education & employment opportunities in Bahrain

HQ Link Pte Ltd, Bahrain Convention & Exhibition Bureau (BCEB) and the Ministry of Education announce the organisation of the prestigious Career, Education and Training Middle East 2006, in short, (CETME 2006), which will serve the Middle East region.
The First Career, Education and Training Middle East Bahrain will be held under the patronage of the Minister of Education, H.E. Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Noaimi, and is fully backed by the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This event is fully supported by the Ministry of Education represented by Dr. Abdulla Al Mutawa, Ministry of Labour, represented by Mr. Majed Al-Binali and the Economic Development Board (EDB). In addition, this Event is backed by the educational sector from the Arab Open University and the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and from the industrial sector by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Such supporting organisations provide full logistical support as well.
HQ Link International, which is the prestigious international professional exhibition organiser, decided to organize its specialised exhibitions in the Kingdom of Bahrain in co-operation with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, represented by Bahrain Convention & Exhibition Bureau (BCEB). CETME 2006 is organised to enhance the organizers' relationships and international expertise. HQ Link has been organising this specialised Career, Education and Training conference since 1989 and it has become one of the most important education exhibitions in east Asian countries as it attracted over 20 countries and more than 200 exhibitors annually.
CETME 2006 will bring together many specialised educational institutions such as universities, open universities, tertiary institutions, polytechnics, vocational and training institutions, colleges, commercial and private schools, management training institutions, schools for specialised skills and career guidance centres.
HQ Link and BCEB confirmed that training and recruitment agencies will play an important role in diversifying supply and demand options. Among the beneficiary institutions will be government ministries, statutory boards, government agencies, non-government organizations, multinational companies, public listed companies, manufacturing companies, technology companies, IT companies, research institutions, private companies, hospitality companies, human resource consultancy companies and employment agencies.
Technologies and supplies will make a significant presence in this event as the following specialties will be offered in the exhibition: IT consultancy, IT software, computer hardware, information systems, media & digital equipment & technology, education supplies, teaching systems, teaching aids and materials, training aids, school supplies & education and infrastructure facilities.
One of the most important objectives of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, represented by Bahrain Convention & Exhibition Bureau (BCEB), is seeking to attract investments to the Kingdom of Bahrain, enhancing international relationships among companies that organise specialised conferences and exhibitions in addition to concentrating on promoting Bahrain abroad and upgrading many technologies and information for vendors in Bahrain, GCC countries and Middle East region as well. BCEB is heavily concentrating on stimulating Bahraini and GCC citizens to invest in Bahrain and encourage them to build commercial relations with exhibitors. (Direct relationships among vendors will provide more fruitful co-operation opportunities and they will speed up decision-making when all options are available simultaneously), said Abdulla Shafeea, Exhibition Department Acting Director.
This event's organising institutions are HQ Link Pte Ltd and Ministry of Industry and Commerce, represented by Bahrain Convention & Exhibition Bureau. CETME 2006 has a consulting committee chaired by the Ministry of Education. The event's supporting organistions are the Ministry of Labour, Economic Development Board (EDB), the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Arab Open University.
This event will be the ideal forum to get acquainted with the local regional and international available education options so that students and parents can choose among such universities and educational institutions.
CETME 2006 will be a perfect forum for recruitment agencies to conduct recruitment drive for employing suitable candidates from jobseekers who are looking for job opportunities in the labour market locally and regionally.
