GIT announces 'Select Partner Programme' to drive reseller loyalty

Through the programme, GIT has identified three categories of foreign business partners, Blue, Silver and Diamond.

The programme will offer resellers at the entry level as well as country or regional distributors with advantages ranging from being recognized as "Authorized Resellers", to Marketing support and additional benefits. GIT will also offer a production platform for other toner cartridge manufacturers. With first rate gt-branded products, the company will provide bulk quantity at reasonable prices to local resellers and exporters, compatible to and produced for laser printers and laser technology based fax machines and copiers.

In addition, GIT has undertaken a rebranding exercise for its gt-brand that stands for GIT`s complementary IT and printer service offer. The brand is now reflected by the tagline: "creating it" synonymous to a state-of-the-art toner production plant extending its services to all kinds of IT- and printer services. GIT will launch an online shop, to be implemented at a later stage.

The new branding extends to all the organisations internal and external communications, including its Web site, advertising, and other collateral materials.

Commenting on the Partner initiative and its new rebranding strategy, Dr. Sassan Dieter Khatib-Shahidi, Managing Director of GIT said, "With the Middle East printer market growing rapidly, we are proud to be associated with leaders in the toner cartridges segment like Hewlett Packard, Canon, Ricoh and Lexmark, and through this partner programme, we will offer customers regionally and globally only the best in toner cartridge products and services."

The company plans to add a set of four color laser toner cartridges to its line of products starting as of November 2005. The toner cartridges will be compatible to the printer models: HP 4500, 4550, 4600, 5500, 5550, 8550. GIT also caters to local dealers and exporters from neighboring countries & companies who are interested in outsourced toner cartridge production.
