The bank, which currently maintains more than 25 offsite and onsite ATMs, recently installed state-of-the-art ATMs at Burjuman Shopping Center and Dubai Airport's Duty Free Area.
Pledging to install ATMs closer to customers, the bank plans to lift the number of ATMs to a total of 50 by yearend all across the country in convenient locations in order to make banking accessible to a growing number of customers. The bank has already installed state-of-the-art ATMs in the landmark Deira City Center Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, Abu Dhabi Mall, Ajman City Center Mall, Sharjah Gold Souk, Al Manar Mall in Ras Al Khaima and other landmark locations across the country.
'At Citibank, we want to offer customers the convenience of banking from home, at neighborhoods, by phone as well as in the branch,' said Rajeev Kakar, Regional Head for Citibank's Consumer Bank in Turkey,Middle East & Africa, who is based in UAE. 'We continuously work towards building greater convenience and access for customers, through the introduction of new access channels to meet their growing needs, and the latest addition of ATMs at Dubai Airport and Burjuman Mall is a logical step in that direction.'
ATM network expansion falls within a series of service and product initiatives that the bank has been executing in the past 24 months. During this period, the bank introduced the pioneering 8-8 branch hours, personal loan and auto loan products, investment as well as insurance services, and wealth management plans.
The bank is currently a major player in the UAE's credit card market and a leading provider of consumer credit services. The personal banking offer is backed by the sophisticated CitiPhone Banking service, a virtual branch meeting all banking needs over the telephone.
