Raya Holding wins honours at the prestigious 2005 IT Weekly Arab Technology Awards

The awards were presented at a gala ceremony at Grand Hyatt Dubai and was attended by a host of dignitaries and leading businessmen from the region.

The event, sponsored by Etisalat and held in association with Gitex, celebrated 25 years of technology innovation across the Middle East and recognised the IT pioneers, leaders and educators of the Arab World. In the Local Hero Awards, Alpha Data and Emirates Computers were the other winners along with Raya Holdings.

The range of Raya solutions that have been displayed at the Raya stand, includes business solutions, e-government solutions, infrastructure services, software development solutions and contact centre solutions.

During Gitex, Raya was laying particular emphasis on its business solutions, which comprise packaged software for local and regional markets, software-related consultancy, custom software development and training services. Raya has leveraged its business solutions to successfully deliver a series of projects to a broad spectrum of clients, including the UAE Ministry of Finance and Etisalat.
