Acer, one of the world's top branded PC vendors, continues to fuel technology growth in the GCC region with yet another stunning product portfolio, this time in the PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) market.
Acer's pocket PCs are split into two different product lines, yet all are specifically designed to enhance business and personal productivity, while looking stylish at the same time.
The Acer n35 Enhanced Navigator model is a slim and compact PDA with an integrated GPS (Global Positioning System) satellite navigation system, and also comes with in-built multimedia and PIM (Personal Information Management) functions. Perfect for the busy executive on-the-move, it comes pre-loaded with maps for all of the Gulf countries
Coupled with a car charger and car holder, the n35 PDA allows users to locate their nearest cinema, bank or retail outlet while also keeping up-to-date with your business appointments at the touch of a button.
"GPS technology is becoming increasingly accepted all over the Middle East. The n35 PDA offers a complete navigation system in one single device - allowing totally unrestricted mobility," commented Graham Braum, Mobility Manager, Acer Middle East.
The Acer n50 and n50 Premium series are high-performance PDAs, which come integrated with Microsoft Windows Mobile, as well as the latest infrared, wireless LAN and Bluetooth technologies, allowing users to connect to their office network or the internet from anywhere. Weighing only 150 grams, the n50's performance is further enhanced by an Intel CPU ranging from 312MHz to 520MHz, internal 64MB ROM on both models and RAM ranging from 64 to 128MB.
Philip Ashkar, Acer's Middle East director of sales and marketing, concluded, "The new Acer PDA range highlights Acer's commitment to empowering customers, giving them greater choice, and offering the latest cutting-edge technology at affordable prices. The excellent results already registered in the PDA segment are accompanied by consistent Acer growth rates in the Middle East, in market segments such as notebooks and LCD monitors."
