Dubai Press Club announces new appointments

Dubai Press Club has announced the appointment of a new Executive Director and other positions upon moving to its new premises at Dubai Media City.
The DPC new management and staff include the appointment of Mohamed Al Mansoori as the Executive Director, Hassa Al Rasheed as the Events Manager, Maryam Bin Fahad as the Special Projects Executive, Sereen Sabra as the Head of Customer Service, and Shahla Kashif as the Events Executive.
Al Marri added, "Since it was established in 1999, Dubai Press Club has proved to be a leading centre for media, carrying out an invigorating set of activities and important events throughout the year and providing various services to media practitioners. We look forward to promoting the vital role that the club plays in the regional and international spheres."
"The new appointments are part of the new strategy of DPC in order to improve the day to day interaction with all the local, regional and international media and successfully manage events and activities. This will put DPC on the map as an active centre, attracting the media to attend and take part in the daily seminars, press conferences and other activities as well as those who wish to benefit from its business centre facilities or simply wish to mingle with their colleagues," said Al Marri
She also said that the newly appointed management and staff were experienced and well qualified and were able to build solid connections with members of the media in the UAE and the region.
Al Marri said, "Operating from its new premises at Dubai Media City, the new Dubai Press Club promises a new set of facilities and services to all its members at par with those offered by leading press clubs in the world."
She added, "The new location at DMC will help establish good links with the local, regional and international media organizations operating from Dubai."
DPC management has recently evaluated the performance of the club over the past 6 years and surveyed a number of media professionals about their needs and expectations from the new DPC. These will be taken into consideration in the club's future plans.
