Batelco reaches out to customers with corporate road show
- Bahrain: Monday, October 03 - 2005 at 13:54
- PRESS RELEASE
There are few awareness-building tools as effective as interactive road shows. As pioneers of Bahrain's telecom industry, BATELCO has embarked on a novel marketing path in the form of its soon-to-be-launched corporate road shows.
Ian Dench, General Manager Sales and Marketing at Batelco says: "In order to learn more about customer preferences and improve performance, organisations need to identify means to introduce their products to customers first-hand. The roadshow provides us with great opportunities to achieve this."
Targeting employees of corporate houses through the roadshow is certainly a marketing strategy with a twist. Dench explains: "Along with analyzing and obtaining insights from customer interactions, it's our idea of going that extra mile and doing that extra bit for companies that have been our loyal clientele."
The coming months will see specially modelled, customer-friendly BATELCO stands manned by trained BATELCO marketing agents who will introduce visitors to a full range of BATELCO's products and services.
Ensuring that every visit to the BATELCO stand will be an eye-opener as well as a treat, Dench highlights: "With the giant developmental strides made by the telecom industry, it is impossible for customers to keep abreast of the newest technologies available that could largely simplify the challenges faced in their daily lives. This is where the road show comes in, as it aims to place innovative products right in front of the public eye, whilst simultaneously clarifying doubts and providing appropriate solutions. The road shows have been specifically conceived to get visitors to experience and interact with the products and services so when they return, it's with a clear picture of what is most useful and suitable to fulfil their individual needs as customers."
The road show was launched with a visit to the National Bank of Bahrain, which was signed up as the first business house to benefit from this offer. This will be followed by BMMI and several other companies who have expressed a keen interest to join hands with BATELCO to see that this mutually beneficial campaign succeeds.
The roadshow will primarily focus around products that are part of BATELCO's mobile and broadband services. It will include: Broadband PC package, WiFi for homes and office, WiFi Hotspots, special corporate packages, Valuetime and Freetime packages including the newly-launched BD2 Freetime20 package.
Both employers and employees will benefit from BATELCO's corporate road show, which BATELCO proudly claims, 'is its way of strengthening relationship with its business customers and reaching out to a vast cross section of Bahrain's society.'
