EPSON launches EPL-6100 mono mid-range laser printer

Designed for the small to medium workgroup the EPL-6100 offers un-compromised speed, quality and value for money. A new compact engine provides speeds up to 16ppm and a first page out in 15 seconds. Also offering a true resolution of 1200dpi, the EPL-6100 ensures crisp output for text, graphics and black and white images.

The EPL-6100 comes as standard with a 250 sheet cassette which supports a variety of media and paper up to 163gsm. An optional 500-sheet paper cassette is available with two media inputs selectable from the printer driver. USB and parallel interfaces are available as standard.

The EPL-6100 drivers do not require modification of the settings to obtain the optimum performance and quality for users, however advanced users can take advantage of the range of options available to control print-quality, speed and page layout. In addition the driver offers information about toner and consumable levels and level of paper remaining.

EPSON's RITech and Enhanced MicroGray 1200 technologies further improve output in 300dpi and 600dpi modes by applying extra smooth gradations on the greys and crisper sharper definition to text.
