This award was given in recognition of LINKdotNET's many contributions in providing valuable services to the information and communications technology (ICT) sector in Egypt.

LINKdotNET's latest contribution was in developing an intranet portal for Telecom Egypt (TE) which has 54,000 employees. Through this Arabic intranet, TE employees are only a click of a mouse away from sharing news, announcements, accessing applications and training material. The intranet portal enables TE employees to access multiple internal applications through a single user interface, as well as, initiate and track vacation requests through employee self-service. Moreover, users can send their IT requests or tickets through the intranet and receive immediate follow up on them.

LINKdotNET managed to implement Microsoft's customer relationship management system (CRM) for Telecom Egypt, which enables the IT department to log, track and process employee's tickets and requests in a more effective and time efficient manner.

In this sense LINKdotNET was able to provide TE with one comprehensive solution, which is more perceptible and cost efficient.

"We are very proud to have received this Microsoft award. We believe that receiving this sort of recognition, year after year, from the leading global company in its field, is in fact a celebration of our commitment to excellence," said Karim Beshara, CEO of LINKdotNET.

LINKdotNET had previously implemented the largest Microsoft CRM implementation in the Middle East internally, serving over 330 employees in three countries. LINKdotNET managed to integrate the CRM solution with other monitoring software, thus providing its users with an unprecedented high level of service, which lead to the achievement of this prestigious award.

Additionally, a number of individual excellence awards were also granted LINKdotNET's employees, one of which came in recognition for the work done on e-enabling twelve of the Sales Tax Authority services through the Bawaba Portal, thus allowing businesses to access all the STA's services online and enabling the STA to integrate the data from all its branches to generate analytical reports.

LINKdotNET has repeatedly received recognition from Microsoft for its excellent performance on the local, regional, and international levels. This latest award comes after LINKdotNET received the Regional Winning Customer Award from Microsoft in 2005 on the EMEA regional level (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

It also comes after LINKdotNET received the Software Development Partner Award for Egypt and East Mediterranean Region from Microsoft during the previous year, as well as the Microsoft Worldwide Customer Experience Award in 2004. Also worth mentioning is that LINKdotNET is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in Integrated E-Business Solutions and in Microsoft Business Solutions.
