Bahrain Government organizations awarded at annual Microsoft Breakfast Series

Microsoft in Bahrain held the second of their annual Microsoft Breakfast Series meetings for the Government of Bahrain Ministries and affiliates at the Ritz Carlton hotel this morning.
The agenda for the meeting consisted of an overview of milestones achieved during the two years of the Government Agreement along with a look at Plans and targets for the upcoming year. The newly announced Software Assurance enhancements and benefits were also presented to the gathering along with an overview of the new Government-Microsoft services and tools. Attendees also got a glimpse of the Government Portal with a look at the support agreement and incidents review. The 2nd Annual Program of the Enterprise Agreement was also highlighted.
Samir Benmakhlouf, the Country Manager for Microsoft in Bahrain said: "Today's meeting marks a milestone for Microsoft as well as the Government of Bahrain. We are committed to supporting the Government of Bahrain in its e-Government initiative towards building an 'intelligent Kingdom'. As we celebrate the second anniversary of our Enterprise Agreement with the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain we are proud of their achievements in this direction and are pleased with the strategic partnership with share with them to meet their goals and reach their citizens. With our continued joint efforts we look forward to future successes and aim to put the Kingdom of Bahrain on the international IT map."
