- PRESS RELEASE
Novell along with its value added distributor, ValueSys, recently hosted a seminar at the Sheraton Heliopolis Yasmin Ball room in Egypt.
Today's infrastructure must be able to adapt to a diverse range of applications. This means at the core and in the data center, the infrastructure now requires redundancy, manageability, and even application awareness.
Meanwhile, at remote sites, manageability, cost, security, and packaging are paramount. Even though Egypt is a fast growing Linux market, people are a little scared to take that first step towards it. The best way to believe is to Experience it. Our aim was to address this, make them more comfortable, displayed how Linux perfectly fitted their budget and requirement.
The seminar also demonstrated how Novell's Linux strategy is causing organizations to reorganize their entire IT infrastructure and how ValueSys as certified Novell Partner can implement SuSe Linux solutions that really work.
"It is very good to have loyal partners like ValueSys who share the same vision as we do. They are equally exited and enthusiastic about Suse Linux and our solutions," said Naser Samanaeh, CM Egypt, Novell Middle east. "This was our sincere effort in educating and promoting the channel to use Novell-Linux Solutions."
"The rapid Linux development in Egypt has seen many IT players rushing to make a foray in this promising market. We believe, companies like ours can provide the much needed support for Linux Growth in the region," said Wael Hosny, GM ValueSys.
The seminar was a fantastic opportunity for the channel partners and end users to learn more about SuSe Linux services and training they rightly deserved to customize a perfectly flexible system and an ideal Enterprise networked solution.
With good feedback from Egypt, Novell will soon be hosting more and more programs to educate the channel and increase Linux adaption in this region.
