Batelco payphone IDD call prices reduced

Over 170 world destinations would benefit from this decision that offers up to 47 percent reduction in international calling charges that take effect starting October 8 until 31st of December 2005. The offer will be applicable to both the old and new payphones.

This initiative comes in line with Batelco's continuous drive to provide world-class services at affordable prices, and as part of the company's ongoing initiatives aimed at delivering value for money to all its clientele.

This move, not only aims to benefit the customers in enjoying more talk time with their loved ones, but also targets the education of customers on the use of the new hi-tech smart card payphones that have been launched by the company recently. Customers holding old cards can still benefit from the offer until the date set for migration i.e. end of December.

Batelco will provide the cards in various denominations of BD1, BD2 , BD 3.5 , BD6.500 and BD 15 sold at the outlets of the company's resellers.
