Drake & Scull Facilities Management appoints new Head of Facilities Management Consultancy for Middle East

The Facilities Management Consultancy complements various divisions within DSFM, which also includes Facilities Management Operations, Energy Management, Systems Solutions and Facilities Project Management.

Having been instrumental in the transition from construction to operations for flagship facilities and consultancy for developers within Dubai and Bahrain, including Emaar, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Durrat Al Bahrain and IFA Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Sanders has first-hand knowledge of the complex logistics and costs associated beyond the initial design and construction.

Outlining the DSFM strategy in developing business within the UAE and the region, he said: "FM Consultancy and the whole life-cycle costing associated with facilities, must continue to drive the real estate market to new levels of sophistication. A Chartered Surveyor, Mr. Sanders has worked for leading global property consultants, operators and clients in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific Rim for eight years, before relocating to Southern Africa and now to the Middle East.
