Unicorn Investment Bank donation to Career Expo and Job Market 2005

Unicorn Investment Bank has donated a sum of BD6,000 in support of Career Expo and Job Market 2005.

Mr. Majid Al Sayed Bader Al Rifai, Chief Executive and Managing Director of Unicorn Investment Bank, presented a cheque for this donation to Mr. Ali Mohamed Sulaibeekh, Deputy Chairman of the Organising Committee of Career Expo 2005. The event is being held for the seventh successive year under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Majeed bin Mohsin Al Alawi, Minister of Labour, at Bahrain International Exhibition Centre from 12 to 14th December, 2005.

Unicorn Investment Bank provides an integrated range of financial services at par with international standards, while being in accordance with Islamic Sharia'a. The Bank launched its operations in the Kingdom of Bahrain on 5th May, 2004 with a capital of US$111 million. During the first eight months of its operations, Unicorn was able to achieve returns totalling US$36 million and profits of US$17 million. Unicorn focuses on developing a unique model of banking in co-operation with leading international financial institutions through five key business channels, namely: corporate finance and capital markets, merger and acquisition transactions, asset management, corporate acquisitions and Takaful.

Mr. Ali Sulaibeekh expressed his thanks to Mr. Majid Al Rifai for this generous donation and for his concern with the success of this event. He expressed the hope that other companies and financial institutions operating in Bahrain would follow suit in the exemplary behaviour demonstrated by the Bank.
