Layout at GITEX Dubai 2005

GITEX organizers expanded gross floor space by nine percent to accommodate the increase in exhibitors for the 25th GITEX, held in Dubai September 25-29. Visitor attendance increased nine percent from 2004, with a total of 118,000 vistors this year.

There was tremendous enthusiasm for Layout's latest product line, especially for Job Ticket System™, NewspaperXT, Layout's latest QuarkXTensions® especially devised for newspapers and tailored to their design aspect; RepliDot™, a scanner-independent copydot solution for Adobe® Photoshop®; FitInXT™, Layout's copy-fitting solution in its enhanced version, as well as an artistically designed library of new Arabic typefaces.

"At this year's GITEX, we benefited from the wider scope of market segments that our solutions target, which now include advertising agencies, and more specifically, newspapers, in addition to publishers," said Gabriel Habis, General Manager of Layout Ltd.

For advertising agencies, Layout introduced Job Ticketing System (JTS) at GITEX.
