Samba, Q3 profit up 72%

Saudi Arabia-based Samba Financial Group says Q3 profit shot up 72% to $317.3m compared to the corresponding period last year. Profit for the first nine months of 2005 is $800m, up 58%. Loans and advances were up 37% at $16.2bn, and earnings per share rose from $5.65 to $8.90.
