Gulf eyes Singapore

Gulf states are eyeing Singapore's property market as a safe haven for oil revenues, according to a report quoted in the Straits Times. The investors are mostly institutional funds, linked to family-run businesses and even royal families, looking at the high end of the market. One Middle Eastern fund bid for all 430 units in the second tower of a development called The Sail at Singapore's Marina Bay.
