GCC EU trade talks

The 21st round of free trade negotiations between the EU and the GCC will take place in the UAE from 25-27 October, according to a statement from the Ministry of Economy and Planning. GCC countries will hold an earlier meeting from 17-18 October to discuss future action. Ministry official Abdulla Al Saleh says the GCC would like to open up trade to Europe for products such as oil, aluminium and other industrial goods.
