Emirates Airline flies on the wings of HP OpenView

The HP OpenView solution will be deployed to manage the Group's complete IT infrastructure that includes the network, desktops, systems, database, application and business services in addition to IT assets life-cycle management. HP and Emirates Group will collaborate to design ITIL compliant processes to implement them as part of this solution.

Revealing details of the project, Hopkins explained that Emirates Group will extend the project beyond the scope of the initial implementation to cover various other areas of their business. HP's OpenView solutions provide the reliability, scalability, and performance required to continuously provide high-quality customer service. HP will ensure that capacity management and performance optimization information are readily available, leading to reduced costs. In addition HP will provide proactive and automated monitoring as well as tools to focus on root-cause analysis to ensure higher customer satisfaction. The solution will provide end-to-end measurement of transaction performance and availability to allow effective Service Level Agreements between Mercator, the IT division of the Emirates Group and its customers.
