Mr. Abdul Khaliq was a member of Bahrain's 28 delegates representing the government and private sectors, including Bahrain Monetary Agency, Batelco, Bapco, Banagas, and other local banks.
"It is the first time for BIsB to participate in this training program, which has been organized for the past eight years by Bahrain Institute for Banking and Finance", said BIsB Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Yousif Khalaf. "Our participation in this training program clearly reflects BIsB's keen desire to develop its human resources and qualify its employees to assume leading and senior positions in the bank", he added.
The 8-month program, jointly held in the Kingdom of Bahrain and USA, is a specialized program, which aims at polishing the skills of senior executives and expanding their knowledge and experience in various domains covered by the program.
Each participant should submit a research which tackles a certain topic assigned by program officials. Mr. Abdul Khaliq's research, with his group, tackled the issue of Islamic Banking and Liquidity Management Solution.

"The training program is highly organized. It mainly focuses on fostering the spirit of team work and group thinking. It also focuses on enhancing the process of decision making and creative solutions through organized thinking of the group and not individuals. The program is meant to polish the skills of communication and other social skills. The program is very useful and involves great value", said Mr. Abdul Khaliq.
