- PRESS RELEASE
Jadaf Dubai, the oldest ship repair yard in the Arabian Gulf area, has carried forward its impressive performance this year by successfully carrying out 542 ship lifting operations in the third quarter of 2005.
"Jadaf Dubai has had another successful quarter in 2005. The growth in trade across the Middle East has amplified the need for high quality ship docking and undocking services, and we were able to provide these services with utmost efficiency," said Hamed Mohammed Matar Bin Lahej, General Manager of Jadaf Dubai. "The proficiency and dedication of our technical team has greatly contributed to the consistent performance of Jadaf Dubai over the years."
"Jadaf Dubai caters to requirements from leading shipping lines across the world, who are keen to avail the best docking and undocking services. We will continue with our major expansion plans to accommodate ships of various sizes and capacities. We are glad that regional and international shipping lines have greatly commended Jadaf's expertise and technical excellence," he added.
Since the last 28 years Jadaf Dubai is known for maintaining and repairing ships coming from different countries in the region, including South Asian, African and European countries. The increasing number of docking and undocking operations have given valuable experience to the staff and has prompted several countries to send their employees to Jadaf Dubai for training. Further, the training and development department at Jadaf Dubai is also working on developing a training programme that can be used to attract more trainers from other countries in the region.
