Tameer proceeds with Al Dana II in International City

Leading property development firm, Tameer Holding Company, has announced the beginning of shoring works for the prestigious Al Dana II project located at International City.

Started in February 2005, the Dana II residential complex boasts 10 floors, consisting of both one and two-bedroomed apartments and retail stores. The project covers an area of 32,797 square feet and is conveniently situated, thus being only 8 minutes from Dubai International Airport.

Speaking on the Al Dana II project progress, Omar Ayesh, President of Tameer Holding said, "We are delighted to announce the start of shoring works for the important Al Dana II project at International City. With the project making remarkable progress, the initiation of the shoring works is a clear representation of our commitment towards the initial project plan for Al Dana II. We look forward to completing the project perfectly by early September 2006."

Centrally located within the multi-cultural International City, Al Dana II offers spacious residential units with fully-furnished kitchens, state of the art fitness facilities, swimming pool and added recreational amenities. Each floor houses 12 apartments, and maximum space is allotted to each living space. All apartments enjoy a scenic view of International City.

Apart from Al Dana II, Tameer has seen significant success in recent times and is currently involved in a number of high-profile projects, such as the Al Ameera Village in Ajman. This project is a mixed-use infrastructure development on the Emirates Road, which spans an array of traditionally designed residential buildings, a five star hotel, hotel apartments and a shopping mall across an area of 50,000 square metres.

Tameer is also developing the AED 30 billion Al Salam City of Umm Al Quwain, which will be developed in three phases on an estimated area of 220 million square feet. In the first phase, the development will comprise of approximately 1,000 buildings, the tallest being a 50-storey hotel. Other components of the project include residential towers of 10-20 floors, a shopping mall, entertainment zones and civic amenities such as schools, banks, retail facilities, mosques etc. Tameer is further involved in the 80 million sq. feet industrial project - the Emirates Modern Industrial Area in Umm Al Quwain.
