Al Sayegh Brothers, master distributors for LG Electronics have unveiled 2 new products aimed at the mobile entertainment market.
"Today, widespread use of mobile entertainment by a number of age groups, particularly teens and young adults, has proven beyond doubt that this category is an important segment of the consumer electronics market," said Shahzad Ahmed, Marketing Director and Head of Retail, Al Sayegh Brothers group. LG MF-HE700
The LG MF-HE700 is a complete portable multimedia entertainment solution, with a whopping 30GB of memory and a 2.2-inch color screen. It can play a range of audio and video formats including MP3, WMA, ASF, OGG, WAV, MPEG, DivX, JPEG, and TXT. Equipped with an FM transmitter, it features a long lasting Lithium-polymer battery that can play up to eight hours of video and 20 hours of music.
LG MF-FE410
The LG MF-FE410 is a stylish and compact MP3 player that utilizes full-color OEL (organic electroluminescent display) technology to provide a bright, vivid display. In addition to supporting MP3 formats, the player can also be used as an FM radio and voice recorder. High-speed transmission relays from the player are done via a USB cable.
Recent Booz Allen Hamilton research, conducted along with the Mobile Entertainment Forum and the Mobile Entertainment Analyst, indicates that after a period of intense competition, innovation and consolidation, the mobile entertainment industry, while still in its formative stages, shows signs of incredible potential. The major drivers of its development will significantly affect the future of mobile entertainment.
"According to the International Data Corporation, the global MP3 player segment will generate an estimated turnover of US $ 58 billion by 2008," said Shahzad. "The research makes clear that there are considerable revenue-generating opportunities to be leveraged by companies offering products in this segment."
"Technology is no longer seen as a business oriented necessity, consumers in the Middle East have embraced digital technology and are focusing on the benefits and value lifestyle products can add to their busy schedules.
