Two bedroom apartments least likely to be put up for resale, according to JBR sales trends
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, October 18 - 2005 at 13:23
Property investors are consistently holding on to two bedroom apartments, whereas four bedroom apartments have a significantly higher rate of resale, according to a two year research by Landmark Properties based on The Jumeirah Beach Residence's sales trends.
He added, "Most popular as an investment seems to be the four bedroom apartments, which command some of the highest returns across the unit types. These apartments appear to be a favourite for investors and have the highest speculative value, with a high percentage of buyers putting them up for resale," he added.
Lovett predicts a renewed interest in the Jumeirah Beach Residence project when it opens shortly, and anticipates a premium demand on it.
Outlining the reasons behind embarking on the research project, Lovett attributes it to a strong belief that property investment needs to be based on hard facts and research, as buying property is one of the most important decisions a person makes in their lifetime. "This is a significant move in the Dubai real estate market where information of this nature is currently not readily accessible to investors. Landmark Properties is deeply committed to helping investors make an informed choice, providing them with comprehensive information on the price they should buy or sell property at and steering them toward the unit that best suits them. This goes a long way in helping them invest in property they will be happy with in the future."
Landmark Properties is in the process of conducting and compiling similar research in projects across Dubai, which will enable them to provide crucial information on an entire area, as well as conducting comparative analyses between locations. They will be increasingly equipped to advise investors on the best property to invest in within a particular area, guiding them according to their lifestyle choices.
