Commending the regional IT exhibition, Shrinivas Ainapure, General Manager IAL said: "GITEX 2005 was hugely successful compared to previous years in terms of potential customers to our stand, visitors from new segments, interest shown in our new products exhibited and in the number of sales leads generated."
Exhibiting at stand N6-2 in Hall 6, IAL and ADC KRONE have been long-term technological partners for more than 20 years. By leveraging their joint participation at the exhibition to showcase a wide range of innovative systems, they received hundreds of enquiries from UAE and other GCC/ African countries across different segments for distribution business, Re-seller business and directly from the clients.
"We have successfully generated enquiries to conduct new product trials for a number of high profile clients including TECOM, ADNOC, Defense, Etisalat and Emirates group. Furthermore, we are confident that we will soon be announcing the sign up of several new System Integrators in the coming months," Ainapure added.
Visitors to the show were given the opportunity to receive live demonstrations of several "first-of-its-kind" applications including ADC Krone's "CopperTen" structured cabling system, the first in the world to include 10 Gigabit/s capabilities over Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP).
The exhibit also showcased a comprehensive solution for "Fiber to the Home". Meanwhile, a live demo of "Span Powered Wi-Fi" solution offered GITEX visitors an opportunity to enjoy "Wireless Broad band Connectivity" using ADC's Wi-Fi Network.
Also in the product demonstration range was ADC's "Internet Service Gateway (SG1)". SG1 is a real time service creation platform for the Service Provider, designed for introducing new services to Internet users.
Current IAL clients include Emirates group, ETISALAT, GHQ, ADNOC and other oil companies, DCA, TECOM, EMAAR, Dubai Police and Ministry of Interior.
