GolinHarris appoints new Senior Director

With 15 years in communications, government advisory and senior consultancy positions he brings to the table a wealth of experience and excellent credentials.

Announcing the appointment, Ziad Hasbani, the MD of GolinHarris commented, "We are very pleased to welcome Jeremy onboard. His broad corporate PR and financial sector experience adds greatly to our portfolio of expertise and we will be looking to take full advantage of this as we extend our client base".

Jeremy came to Dubai from Thailand where he worked as a Team Leader and Senior Consultant on large telecommunication and financial sector accounts for the New Zealand-based Baldwin Boyle Group. Prior to this he was Managing Director of the Baldwin Boyle Group's Singapore office. During a four-year period in the Asian city-state he led numerous strategic accounts, including Singapore Airlines, Singapore Airport Terminal Services, Monetary Authority of Singapore, General Insurance Association of Singapore, Credit Suisse Private Banking, and Bank of America.

Prior to his move into the world of PR, Jeremy worked as Press Secretary to the former New Zealand Minister of Energy, Enterprise and Commerce, Defense and Tertiary Education and led major policy launches for New Zealand's last National government.

He was also a senior political reporter for two of New Zealand's leading daily newspapers, winning fellowships to study the media in the United States and Britain.

A recent arrival in Dubai, Jeremy has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Canterbury University, a Diploma in Journalism and a Diploma in Business Administration from Massey University.
