  • PRESS RELEASE

Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) is among the main sponsors of the 1st Youth & Police Forum, aimed at bringing Dubai youngsters closer to the emirate's police force.

Organised jointly by Dubai Police and the Dubai Educational Zone, the four- day event features a host of emirate-wide activities, including live demonstrations of Dubai Police helicopters and marine rescue missions.

"ENOC has a strong social conscience and a firm commitment to making a contribution to the community in which it operates," said Hussain Sultan, ENOC Group Chief Executive and Board Member. "These assets have led us to sponsor this pioneering endeavour.

"As a Group committed to all its customer segments -we are especially interested in the youth sector, firstly as employees and also because they are the future of Dubai. We applaud the initiative of Dubai Police and Dubai Educational Zone in staging the event and look forward to the positive results we are sure it will bring."

Dubai Police will invite schools across the emirate to visit its headquarters in an effort to highlight its role as society's shield against law violators.

The event includes cultural and sporting activities, in which over 600 Dubai students will participate. UAE sport personalities have endorsed the initiative and will be present in various locations during the event.

An exhibition tackling youth issues runs parallel to the forum.
