Fujitsu Siemens Computers boosts Mid East marketing team

Lebanese national Maria Sorger takes up the new role and joins the company's Marketing & Communications Director Sheila Bibi, who has headed Fujitsu Siemens Computers marketing strategy across the Middle East, Africa, Sub-continent and Turkey for the past nine months.

"Our increased emphasis on regional marketing and communications underlines the heightened importance Fujitsu Siemens Computers now attributes to the vibrant GCC and emerging Middle East markets," said Bibi, a British national with a 20-year regional sales and marketing background.

"We are now working to define and raise efficiency of the end-to-end marketing and communications for the international sales region, with a concentration on the development of a greater customer-centric strategy."

Bibi, who worked for 18 months as the company's marketing operations manager before being promoted to her current role, is also responsible for driving the international sales region's channel marketing activity and supporting all elements of the marketing mix.

"It is my intention to further develop the Fujitsu Siemens Computer's brand and justifiably position it as one of the region's top three I.T. manufacturers," said Bibi.
